Advisor Shelves: the analysis, on the mod
Advisor Shelves generate working shelves directly onto your mods: an Add shelf of items with sales but no position, a Delete shelf of items with history but no place, Consideration, Cutdown, Components, and Special Products shelves — each derived from your real data, restricted by warehouse alignment and feature requirements.
Every shelf sorts the way you want, colors the way you want, and can be limited to named assortments. The mod itself becomes the worksheet.
Insert, delete, swap, balance — at fleet scale
Bulk insert places a product across planograms with anchor-product positioning, fixture targeting, validity checks against warehouse and feature rules, and optional automatic balancing of the fixture it lands on. Position delete removes items and handles the hole: leave it, fill it exactly, fill it plus a margin, or rebalance — pulling replacements from the consideration shelf or a list you provide.
Bulk swaps run from a list you build or import, scoped by warehouse or trait. And Balance refits facings to your inventory model — case-pack-out first, then days-supply, with faceout distribution of whatever space remains.
The Performance Populator: sales in, performance out
Getting sales history turned into planogram performance is where most teams lose a week of every relay to spreadsheet pivots. The Performance Populator does the whole pipeline in one pass: it aggregates your imported sales over the period you choose and writes performance for every selected planogram — updating records that exist, creating them for any valid product missing one.
The math runs deep, not just wide: sales are pre-averaged per store, then re-aggregated to each planogram — weighted averages (price and sales weighted by volume), straight averages, and min/max ranges like low and high day volumes. On top of the standard period, six more period ranges — customizable per category — fill SalesP1–6, UnitsP1–6, and ProfitP1–6: trailing windows, seasons, or last year’s same weeks, side by side on every record, with profit computed from your performance or product cost data. And custom fields run on their own separate range with selectable match levels — pin them to warehouse-level matching, for example, and pull a holiday week’s weekend volume alongside the year’s baseline. Every record notes the match level used — MOD, cluster, warehouse, market, region, area, or national — matched in that order.
Everything automation includes
- Advisor Shelves: Add, Delete, Cutdown, Consideration, Components, Special Products
- Per-shelf sorting options and configurable colors
- Assortment limits on shelf contents
- Performance Populator: planogram performance built straight from sales history — existing records update, missing ones are created for valid products
- Weighted averages, averages, and min/max ranges — pre-averaged per store, aggregated per planogram
- Six per-category period ranges populate SalesP1–6, UnitsP1–6, and ProfitP1–6 for side-by-side period comparison
- Standard fields on one period; custom fields on a separate range with selectable match levels
- Sales-level tracking: MOD, cluster, warehouse, market, region, area, or national — first match wins, recorded on the record
- Bulk insert with anchor products, fixture targeting, and validity checks
- Optional automatic balance of affected fixtures on insert
- Position delete with gap strategies and consideration-shelf backfill
- Bulk product swaps from built or imported lists, scoped by warehouse or trait
- Balance: CPO-first, then DOS, faceout, overfill options, target starting DOS, padding controls
- Mod Builder template builds and updates across whole relays
